Organised by Paul Lagah today we talked, reflected and celebrated the life of our dear fellow Parkour practitioner Jem Mustafa Kerestecioǧlu. Who left us in this world, to ascend to another world.

A beautiful and fitting speech was made by Paul Lagah. Plus a powerful symbolic gesture of Paul, was to rub the nourishing earth from Jem’s Funeral. The soil travelled all the way from London to the Parkour spot at Anderston, here in Glasgow. The earth was rubbed onto the bark of a strong tree, plus at various jumps and landing spots.

We all put up with the rain, and then got a break of some sunshine, was I hope was from Jem’s approval. Jem we all will remember you as a vibrant, creative and positively encouraging part of our community. X
